GS1 Denmark is constantly working to improve the user experience in GS1Trade Sync. Below you will find the latest implemented improvements.

Clear marking for images from a certified photographer

We have made it easier for you to see if your product images were taken by a certified photographer, such as GS1Trade Image. Previously, all images were displayed with the status Valid, regardless of source/sender, but to increase transparency for both data providers and data recipients, images from certified photographers are now displayed with a new status.

Images taken by a certified photographer are sent directly to retailers (e.g., Salling Group, Coop, Dagrofa, and Rema Distribution). The images are displayed with the new status Certified photographer. You can also search for products with images from a certified photographer via the advanced search in GS1Trade Sync.

The display of Certified photographer is your guarantee that the images meet the requirements of the retail industry.

If you use GS1 Denmark's image solution, GS1Trade Image, you can be sure that the images meet all requirements and specifications.

You can also see when the images were uploaded.

GS1Trade Exact status "Recheck required" is displayed in red text

It has now become easier for you to see which products you need to focus on regarding GS1Trade Exact and data quality. We have made "Recheck required" red.

"Recheck required" means that data has been changed after the product received the green Valid stamp. You can get the green stamp back either by correcting the data to match what GS1Trade Exact has inspected, or by ordering a new check of the item, e.g., a label check. You can do this via My GS1.

See all companies in the GDSN network

GDSN is a term for the global network, GS1Trade Sync is part of. When you are a member of a GDSN data pool, you can share and receive product data with thousands of companies locally and globally. There are over 1,200 companies in Denmark alone using the service, and approximately 70,000 companies globally. Your data, and therefore your products, can truly come to life when you are a member of GS1Trade Sync.

Are you curious about which companies are part of GS1Trade Sync – and perhaps which companies are members of another GDSN data pool? Click on the "Companies" tab in GS1Trade Sync – there are 2 columns to search in. One with members here in Denmark and GS1Trade Sync, as well as one for external companies.
