At GS1 Denmark, we invoice many of our services once a year – in January.

Would you like to avoid surprises, invoicing hassles, and paying for more than you actually need?

Then read on, as we have gathered three tips on how to sail through the next annual invoicing process.

1: Save money by cleaning up your data

To avoid paying for irrelevant data, we recommend that as a data provider in GS1Trade Sync, you withdraw your products when they are no longer current. See how to do it here.

If you are a data recipient in GS1Trade Sync, remember to regularly review all your subscriptions. This way, you also avoid being invoiced for data that is no longer relevant to you.

For those of you who are unsure how to sort and delete subscriptions in GS1Trade Sync, we have created a short 1-minute video guide. Watch the video guide here.

2: Update company information and avoid hassle

Make sure your billing information is up to date. For example, check that your email address is correct, your PO number is working, etc. This ensures a more efficient billing process for you (and for us) – completely hassle-free.

Update your information on Mit GS1 by December 31st – or even better, do it today. Update information here.

3: Understand your pricing and avoid surprises

When you receive your annual invoice from us, the price may vary from previous years – and that is perfectly normal. This is usually because your usage of a given GS1 service has changed (up or down). The price of GS1’s data-supported services, such as GS1Trade Sync and GS1Trade Packaging, is usage-based.

At the same time, please note that GS1 Denmark’s prices, in accordance with the general terms and conditions and user terms for GS1 Trade Services, are adjusted on an ongoing basis – at least annually according to the net price index. See the current prices at any time here.

If you would like to know more about billing at GS1, read the frequently asked questions from our members here.

P.S. Please be aware that the notice period for GS1 Denmark is 3 months before the end of a calendar year. Cancellation/resignation must be made in writing via this form.
