I slutningen af september løb projektet Skolemad 2030 af stablen hos vores samarbejdsparter, Læringshus Nærheden, med faglige diskussioner om madlavning, CO2-udledning og madspild. Fødevareminister Rasmus Prehn (S) deltog med oplæg, som mundskænk på elevernes madspildsvenlige menu, beregnet ud fra GS1-standarder og med kyndig vejledning fra Mads Kibsgaard, Head of Standards, Sustainability & Partnerships.
Mads Kibsgaard fik samtidig lejlighed til at indvie ministeren i, hvordan smarte stregkoder (2D-stregkoder) kan bidrag til en væsentlig reduktion af madspild – ikke bare i husholdningerne, men også hos fødevareproducenter og dagligvarehandlen. Ministeren fangede hurtigt pointerne, og så var samtalen godt i gang. Se og hør samtalen herunder:
Mads Kibsgaard er på tredje år tilknyttet skolen som mentor, og gennem dette samarbejde har eleverne blandt andet lært at klimahacke maden via data fra CONCITO. Læringshus Nærheden rummer 0.-9. klassetrin og har fokus på innovation og science. Skolen er udviklet i samarbejde med lærere og pædagoger samt et Advisory Board medrepræsentanter fra bl.a. LEGO Education, Microsoft og Teknologisk Institut.
