Colloquially, many know GTIN as a barcode, but technically, GTIN is the number found beneath the barcode symbol itself, and can therefore also be used for other technologies such as 2D barcodes and RFID tags.
If you use our GS1Trade Image service, you may have already noticed that you now get more product images for the exact same price as before.
At GS1 Denmark, we know that high-quality product images are essential for your product sales. We are therefore pleased to improve our service and offer members even more images for the same price when ordering the standard image package from GS1Trade Image.
With the expanded image package, we now take photos from up to 9 different angles, rather than the up to 5 different angles we previously took.
As a rule, we take photos of the angles that contain relevant information, such as angles showing ingredients or nutritional values. The number of angles will always depend on the product and packaging type.
It is our hope that as a member, you will get even more value from the expanded image package, whether you are a manufacturer or a retailer. This allows you and your customers to choose the exact product images that sell your product best.
Here you can see some examples of new image angles.
