GS1 is facilitating a workshop on Wednesday, November 8, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for key players operating in the market for the sale of cosmetics and personal care.
The purpose is to take the initial steps toward developing a common data model through GS1's product database, GS1Trade Sync, which many suppliers already use today to exchange product data.
Working with a common data model means, in concrete terms, that we will look together at the needs for product data—both legal and business-supporting—and formulate specific requirements for data that will help ensure both structured data communication and high data quality for the benefit of all parties in the supply chain.
To put it simply, all input is relevant. We don't expect you to know everything, but GS1 sees it as a great advantage that as many as possible want to contribute.
Even if you or your company do not currently use GS1Trade Sync, your contribution will still be valuable. The data model resulting from our joint work will subsequently be available for you to implement and use in your own system or daily operations, whether you are a manufacturer, supplier, wholesaler, retailer, or webshop. In other words, EVERYONE is welcome.
At the workshop, GS1 will provide a brief introduction, followed by group work on specific topics within the data model. We will conclude with a joint wrap-up and lunch.
The workshop will take place at Vesterbrogade 149, 1620 Copenhagen V.
