Colloquially, many know GTIN as a barcode, but technically, GTIN is the number found beneath the barcode symbol itself, and can therefore also be used for other technologies such as 2D barcodes and RFID tags.

What do you do when you want to market your product before it has been produced? The short answer is computer-generated imagery (CGI). With CGI through GS1Trade Image, you get beautiful, professional product photos long before the product is finished. Easy, efficient, and at an affordable price.
A CGI is a computer-generated image created from artwork/design and a similar packaging type. Therefore, a CGI does not require the submission of a physical product.
This allows you to streamline your product launch processes faster, and your customers will have product images for marketing in advertisements or newspapers, as well as planogram images for space management systems. For example, you can use it in connection with the launch of a new product or if you change the design of an existing product.

We have spoken with some of the members who use the service today, and they say:
”At Peter Larsen Kaffe we have chosen to use GS1Trade Image to create CGI – quality images at a budget-friendly price. This way, we ensure that we meet our customers' needs for product images and that our products come to life long before the physical product is produced, for example for marketing, campaigns, and planogram systems”
- Annette Wisler Houmann, Product Manager at Peter Larsen Kaffe.
"At Arla Foods we use GS1Trade Image to provide CGI (Computer Generated Images) for both new product launches and design changes – with great success.
We have increased the efficiency of our launches and even achieved a more sustainable solution, and we can now make images available to customers much earlier in the process."
- Rikke Gelvad Marcussen, Product Data Manager at Arla Foods.
Images must be ordered via Mit GS1. Here, you need to upload artwork and a photo of a similar packaging shape. We are happy to discuss your specific requirements for how the final image should look beforehand.
The standard package (front shot) costs DKK 755 excl. VAT. If you require additional angles, each subsequent angle costs DKK 325 excl. VAT.
You will receive 2 high-resolution images in jpg and png formats, as well as a planogram image. If you would like to see examples of more of the CGI images we have created for our members, please feel free to contact us.
