Colloquially, many know GTIN as a barcode, but technically, GTIN is the number found beneath the barcode symbol itself, and can therefore also be used for other technologies such as 2D barcodes and RFID tags.
Following requests from several of our members, we have made three improvements to the product data sheet that you can easily create in GS1Trade Sync and send to customers and trading partners, for example for product marketing. You can create as many product data sheets as you need, free of charge, directly in GS1Trade Sync.
At the bottom of this news item, you can also see how to create the product data sheet and how to link to it from your own website.
In short, the improvements include more information on shelf life, nutritional content, and preparation instructions. This benefits you, your customers, and ultimately the consumer, the climate, and food safety.
Below, you can see an example of a product data sheet in GS1Trade Sync. The red circles highlight the additions we have made.

Select the item you want to create a product data sheet for by checking the box on the left, click "Export", and select "Product data sheet".

You can also click "Action" on the right side of the product and then "Product data sheet".

You can generate a link to the product data sheet, which you can use on a website or webshop, for example.
When you want to create the product data sheet (see instructions above), click "Public links" and then select the language you want the data sheet in. Then click "Copy to clipboard". The link will provide direct access to a product data sheet for the selected product.
If you update data in GS1Trade Sync, your data sheet is updated automatically - and you don't need to generate a new link.

We hope you enjoy these new improvements.
