At GS1 Denmark, we want to offer an efficient way to exchange data, and we are therefore pleased to announce that creating data for the Swedish market has now become even easier.

How does it work?

Data suppliers will now receive assistance directly in the user interface and will eventually see all fields clearly marked in red when creating data for the Swedish market – just as they do for product creation for the Danish market.

This ensures that data can be delivered correctly the first time, without unnecessary delays or feedback loops from Swedish data recipients.

Below, you can see an example of one of the rules we have integrated into the system.

In the top left corner, you can see the Error ID. We use the same error ID system as GS1 Sweden, which ensures a consistent and smooth process across national borders.

Implementation timeline for the new rules

The first 30 rules were implemented on January 8, 2025. We will continue to gradually integrate the remaining rules, totaling approximately 140, throughout the first half of 2025.

We look forward to making everyday life more efficient for those of you juggling product creation for the Swedish market.
