Er du en af dem, der hyppigt har brugt GS1Trade Barcode til at danne dine stregkoder, kan du se frem til i fremtiden at skulle gøre dette i GS1Trade Activate i stedet. GS1 Denmark har nemlig valgt at lade GS1Trade Barcode gå på pension.
Og tænker du nu – åh nej, hvor skal jeg nu lave mine stregkoder og pallelabels? Så frygt ej, for det kan du stadig gøre hos GS1. Det hele foregår bare i GS1Trade Activate.
De nye ændringer sker for at gøre livet nemmere for vores medlemmer. Før skulle du bruge to systemer til at genere GS1-nøgler og fysiske stregkoder, men i fremtiden kommer det altså til at blive samlet i ét. Det, håber vi, kommer til at gøre livet for vores medlemmer nemmere.
Desuden har vi også sørget for en masse nye funktioner, som gerne skulle hjælpe dig med at generere dine stregkoder. F.eks. kan du nu tildele det næste ledige SSCC-nummer til dig, så du slipper for at skulle beregne det manuelt.
Helt konkret så lukker GS1Trade Barcode efter planen den 30. april 2024, og du skal herefter logge på www.gs1tradeactivate.dk for at få muligheden for at oprette og lave dine stregkoder.
Der vil være en overgangsperiode, hvor du har mulighed for stadig at lave dine stregkoder i GS1Trade Barcode.

If you are one of our frequent users of GS1Trade Barcode, you can look forward to generating your barcodes in GS1Trade Activate in the future, as GS1 Denmark has decided to retire GS1Trade Barcode.
And if you're thinking - oh no, where am I going to create my barcodes and pallet labels now? Fear not, as you can still do this with GS1. It will simply take place in GS1Trade Activate instead.
The new changes are being implemented to make life easier for our members. Previously, you had to use two systems to generate GS1 keys and barcodes, but in the future, it will all be consolidated into one system. We hope this change will make things easier for our members.
Furthermore, we've also introduced many new features to assist you in generating your barcodes. GS1Trade Activate can for instance assign the next available SSCC number for you, so you won't have to do a manual calculation every time. You will however need to enter your first SSCC number as a starting point. Subsequently, GS1Trade Activate will automatically allocate the next available SSCC number.
GS1Trade Barcode will close according to plan on the 30th of February 2024. After this date, you will need to log in to www.gs1tradeactivate.dk to create and generate your barcodes.
There will be a transitional period during which you can still create your barcodes in GS1Trade Barcode.
