How do we crack the code to reducing medicine waste and medication errors, and how can data and technology play a greater role in ensuring both sustainability and patient safety in the healthcare system?
We will be focusing on these questions at our debate at Folkemødet 2025, titled: "From Waste to Wellness – Can we crack the code to medicine waste while also reducing medication errors?". It takes place on Friday, June 13, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at F20 - Rud Pedersen, F - Ved Folkemødehuset.
Denmark already has both the data and the digital solutions to reduce medicine waste and prevent medication errors. Yet, many hospitals and institutions are hesitant to take the final step. What is holding us back, and what is required, both politically and practically, to change this?
