I februar lancerede vi en række nye felter og valideringsregler i GS1Trade Sync. Opdateringerne skal sikre, at produktdata lever op til ny lovgivning og datamodtagernes krav - og at varer kan valideres og publiceres uden problemer.

Der er indført krav om at angive, hvilken eller hvilke kollektive ordninger et produkt afregnes gennem - eller om emballagen er fritaget.
Datamodellen er udvidet med nye felter for rengørings- og kemiartikler, så oplysninger om kemikalier, faresignaler og sikkerhed kan deles korrekt ved online salg. I første omgang tilføjes advarsler – felterne bliver senere obligatoriske.
For vitaminer, mineraler, kosttilskud samt kost- og måltidserstatninger er det nu obligatorisk at angive diættypekode. Koden aktiverer relevante valideringsregler og sikrer, at lovpligtige oplysninger deles korrekt.
Det er nu obligatorisk at angive vækstmetode, vægtklasse og kvalitetsklasse via faste kodelister.
Fem nye frivillige felter gør det muligt at dele mere detaljerede oplysninger om fx bønnetype, oprindelse og ristningsgrad.
