Colloquially, many know GTIN as a barcode, but technically, GTIN is the number found beneath the barcode symbol itself, and can therefore also be used for other technologies such as 2D barcodes and RFID tags.

As a member, you are responsible for maintaining your photos. GS1 overwrites old images in GS1Trade Sync when new ones are taken if they have identical naming (same angles).
Images with angles that are no longer being photographed will not be automatically removed. We do not delete images for you, as you know best which images you want to have lying around in GS1Trade It's syncing.

To attach new images or documents to a product, use the “Add Images/Documents” button in the upper right corner. The button is displayed no matter where you are on the product, so long as it is a draft version of the product.

After pressing the button, you will be asked to specify the type of media you want to link, as well as whether you want to upload it or if we need to download it via a URL.

After that, the image or document will be associated with the product.
After you've attached an image or document, you'll be presented with a box where you can specify additional information about the file that's just associated. For images, it is necessary that you provide the required information in order for the image to be sent to your customers.
If you already use the naming, cf. GS1 the standard for your images, then the information that would otherwise need to be entered automatically will be specified based on the name of the image file.
Below you can see what it looks like when uploading an image that does not follow the GS1 standard in terms of naming.

Here you need to specify the four information highlighted in red.

The image is now ready to be shared with your customers. You can still see the original file name shown in the image, as well as the new file name defined by the GS1 standard.
