GTIN
Colloquially, many know GTIN as a barcode, but technically, GTIN is the number found beneath the barcode symbol itself, and can therefore also be used for other technologies such as 2D barcodes and RFID tags.

IN GS1Trade Activate the system, which is free for members of GS1, you can easily create your GS1-128 Pallet Labels for your shipments.
You can do this in two ways: automatically and manually. Follow this short step-by-step guide and choose the method that is right for you.
Make sure you're signed in to GS1Trade Aktiver: Log in to GS1Trade Activate.
If you do not have access, contact your administrator who has the option to grant you access. This is done under the 'User Administration' tab.
If you don't have a user, contact us via our contact form, then we will make sure to create a user for you.
Once logged in, you will automatically be in the 'Overview' view, where you can see all your prefixes.
To form GS1-128 pallet labels, go to the tab 'GTIN Part Number'.
By far the fastest way to form a label is when the collet is already created in the system. Then you can choose the automatic formation of your GS1-128 Pallet label.
Simply hover your mouse over the row with the packaging device and select <Dan stregkode> under 'Actions'to the right:
When a GTIN is created as a packaging unit, you have the option to select the barcode type GS1-128 Label. Then click <Næste>.
Then you have to choose whether to use the label to identify the packaging unit itself or whether it is a pallet label. Mark 'Pallet'and then <Næste>.
After that, you need to fill in the information that should appear on the label. For further guidance on this, go to section '5. Completion of pallet label information'.
If GTIN on the colliery unit not has been created in the system, you can make the label by manual input using the button <Dan stregkode> at the top:
Using this button, you can choose from five barcode types. Here you choose 'GS1-128 Label'and click <Næste>.
Enter the GTIN (barcode number) using 14 digits. That is, if you have a 13-digit GTIN, place a zero in front.
Then mark that a label should be made for Pallet, and select <Næste>.
When you form a pallet label based on a created GTIN, the system automatically fills in the company name as well as product description for you.
Then you need to provide the SSCC code yourself, as well as the requested additional information such as' (10) Batch/Lot ',' (15) Best Before', '(37) Contained Quantity', etc.
The most used fields are automatically visible, but by clicking <Tilpas felter> you can add more fields.
The minimum requirement for a GS1-128 pallet label is the SSCC code. The first time you form a pallet label in GS1Trade Activate, shell you enter the SSCC code manually. However, the next time you form a pallet label, the system will automatically inform about the next SSCC.
But finally remember to note for yourselves which SSCC codes you have used and for what, as this not being stored in the system.

When all the information is entered, the label is ready to be formed.
If you need to generate multiple identical labels, then you have the option to do this using the field 'Number of barcodes'at the top. Enter the desired number of pallet labels in the field and you will get the desired number, where only the SSCC code is different.
The system ensures that new consecutive SSCC codes are used based on the entered SSCC.
By clicking <Dan> and then <Download> the pallet label will be downloaded as PDF. In the case of multiple labels, they are downloaded as a ZIP file, with each label included as its own PDF file.
