If you have authorised GS1Trade Exact to overwrite your product data in GS1Trade Sync, you do not need to make any manual changes.

We will update your product data in accordance with the quality report, and your product will automatically receive VALID status.

We recommend reviewing your quality report as soon as it becomes available. Our standard processing time is 10 business days. If you have any questions or wish to request corrections, please contact us within 10 business days of your quality report and/or images becoming available.

I have not granted permission to overwrite data

If you have not authorised GS1Trade Exact to overwrite your product data, you must update the product information yourself in GS1Trade Sync according to the quality report.

Your product will only receive VALID status once all required corrections have been made.

We also recommend reviewing your quality report as soon as it becomes available, as any corrections must be completed within 10 business days.

Understanding the Quality Report

Once your products have been processed by GS1Trade Exact and GS1Trade Image, you can download a quality report similar to the example below:

When reviewing your report, pay particular attention to the following columns:

• Field Name - identifies the product data field being reviewed.
• Original Value - the value originally entered in GS1Trade Sync.
• Inspected Value - the value recorded by GS1Trade Exact during the inspection. Any corrections made during the inspection are shown here.

When reviewing your report, focus especially on the fields marked with the red INVALID status. These are the fields that require correction in GS1Trade Sync.

If you are unsure where to find a particular field in GS1Trade Sync, simply use the search function in the upper-right corner and search for the field number shown next to the field name.
