Colloquially, many know GTIN as a barcode, but technically, GTIN is the number found beneath the barcode symbol itself, and can therefore also be used for other technologies such as 2D barcodes and RFID tags.
Learn more about how to use the copy function in GS1Trade Sync.
If you want to copy a hierarchy consisting of a base unit and a packaging unit (pure package), you must:
1. Select the collider as shown below, press “New Product” and “Copy Hierarchy”

2. Then you need to specify the new GTINs for the devices

3. After that, you need to confirm the creation. You are directed to the smallest unit in the hierarchy — the base unit — and you can now start editing. Be sure to correct any information that is different from the original hierarchy. Images and documents are not copied into the new hierarchy.
