Information for REMA 1000 suppliers

You can order everything you need through My GS1, GS1 Denmark's customer portal.

From 1 January 2026, you must use the relevant GS1 systems when introducing new products or making changes to existing products sold through REMA 1000, including both retail and foodservice.

First you need to create your products in:

• GS1Trade Sync
• GS1Trade Packaging

When the products have been created, you need to order and send them to:

• GS1Trade Exact
• GS1Trade Image

The ordering and the shipment happens via My GS1.

Yes. The GS1 Supplier Information (VI) form is used when creating new products.

This is a simplified version of the previous VI form and only contains information related to trading requirements.

The most up-to-date version of the form is always available on the REMA Distribution Supplier Portal.

Yes and no - the exception is GS1Trade Image, which at the moment is not a requirement for REMA 1000’s own branded products.

Yes, preferably in this order: first GS1Trade Sync, followed by GS1Trade Packaging.

Yes. That is the plan, but there is currently no confirmed timeline for when the integration will be available.

From January 1st 2026, all new products and any changes to existing products supplied to REMA Distribution must be created and maintained in both GS1Trade Sync and GS1Trade Packaging.
